What encrypted sync protects
The private app and this advertising-supported guide use separate web origins. Your browser is the starting point; the Cloudflare-hosted encrypted copy exists only after you turn sync on inside the app.
On this device
Your application fields are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. Clearing site data can remove them, so keep a JSON backup.
In encrypted sync
Your browser encrypts the complete tracker before upload. The server stores ciphertext, a hashed access token, version, and expiry metadata — not the encryption key.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. The tracker starts in your browser and saves application records on this device. An account is never required.
Will my applications appear on my phone automatically?
Not until you enable encrypted sync. Choose “Use on another device,” then open the private link or QR code on your phone.
Can the server read my company names or notes?
Synced application records are encrypted in your browser with AES-GCM before upload. The encryption key stays in your private connection link and is not sent to the server.
Can I import a spreadsheet?
Yes. Export Google Sheets or Excel as a CSV file, then use Import. Review valid rows and any row-level errors before confirming.
How should I back up my tracker?
Download a JSON backup regularly. JSON preserves the complete application record and can replace the current tracker during a restore.
